Abstract Mountain Art: Balancing Serenity and Tempest in Painting

It feels like stepping into a dream, where mist veils the edges of reality, and at the center lies an ethereal form that draws me inward—quiet, mysterious, and soul-stirring.

In this abstract painting, I sought to portray my emotions through a mysterious form of mountain ranges—serene and scenic on one side, tempestuous on the other—echoing the fragile balance between peace and chaos in nature.

Materials Used:

Canvas sheet – 16 X 12 inch
Palette knife
Acrylic color
Paint Brush – 2 inch

Things I learned:

Although it seems like moving palette knife randomly loaded with loaded color but still I have to think or visualise the pattern that I frame in mind. Every movement of the knife was directing me my next move. It’s all about the meaning I want to depict on each place.
Moving dry brush to create foggy patter where each stroke with the brush was important along with the direction which was outwards in my case.

Here is how I made it and how it looks at the end

Hope you liked it.
THAT’S IT
